Abstract

The objective of this study was to analyze the literature related to these tools, recognizing techniques, benefits and challenges on performance evaluations and work behaviors in the public sphere, highlighting their importance to increase the efficiency of the organization and the quality of services public in Peru. Among the most notable techniques is 360° evaluations, while the benefits include increased transparency and evidence-informed decision-making. However, restrictions stand out such as the lack of training for evaluators and opposition to change. Research determines that an effective application can boost professional growth, increase motivation and strengthen citizens' trust in public entities, thus promoting more effective and transparent administration. These tools are essential to maximize human resources and harmonize personal goals with those of the organization.
