Abstract

The present scientific research consisted of explaining the productive chain in the development of tourism in Callao, (Manrique Nugent, et al., 2019) tourism is one of the activities that generate economic strengthening for the country. It was proposed as an objective to characterize the supply chain and tourism development in the Callao Region, considering that tourism constitutes an important source of income for both the population and the State. This article focused on exploring the breadth and length of the supply chain, perspectives that have not been previously applied to tourism. The research was conducted using a critical and quantitative social approach, gathering information from a variety of research works; in addition, surveys and original research were conducted that revealed a direct relationship between tourism and the supply chain, considering tourism planning, tells us (Plataforma digital única del Estado Peruano, 2022) Tourism planning is a fundamental requirement for the development of tourism activity, as it ensures an adequate integration of tourism into the local economy, society, culture and environment. Tourism can become a strategy for local and regional development taking into consideration that tourism modalities are increasingly expanding, adjusting to the needs of tourism consumers (Gambarota & Lorda, 2017).
