Abstract

The main objective of the research work was to clarify the relationship between the quality management system and the productivity of geosynthetics construction companies in the city of Moquegua. This research corresponds to the level of an applied and correlational type of research. The study population was composed of the personnel of the establishment. Given that 100 employees participate in the development of the company's geosynthetics plant, the sample size was determined by stochastic sampling of categorical variables in a finite population, resulting in a sample size of 30 people. Data collection was done through a written survey that was validated by expert judgment. Meanwhile, the reliability of the study was determined by Cronbach's alpha. After data collection and processing, the degree of correlation (0.60) between the variables investigated was determined. This indicates that there is a significant relationship between the quality management system and the productivity of geosynthetics construction companies. Similarly, a relationship (0.30) was found between the quality management system and the efficiency of geosynthetics construction companies, indicating that there is no significant relationship. Finally, a relationship (0.60) was found between the quality management system and the effectiveness of the geosynthetics installation company, indicating a significant relationship. For them, we used Spearman's Rho to compare the hypotheses and reached the following conclusion: there is a significant positive relationship between the quality management systems and the productivity of the geosynthetics installation companies.
